Homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea – Sip & Relax! (Hot or Iced)

A comforting Homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea combining aromatic vanilla and warm cinnamon with your choice of milk, enjoyed hot or iced.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 stick Cinnamon or ½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 1 bean Vanilla split and scraped or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 bag Black tea or 1 teaspoon loose-leaf black tea (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar honey, or other sweetener of choice
  • 1 Star anise optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a low boil.
  • Add a cinnamon stick and vanilla bean in the pot, turn the heat to low, and cover with a lid.
  • Let the ingredients steep in simmering hot water for about 10 minutes.
  • Strain the vanilla cinnamon infusion into a cup and add a black tea bag. Brew for 3-5 minutes. You can also stir in your preferred sweetener.
  • In a separate container, gently heat the milk until it is warm but not boiling. You can also froth it. Then pour the hot milk into the cup.
  • Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top or add a cinnamon stick or star anise as garnish. Enjoy!
