Vegetables
- 12 whole carrots peeled and cut into quarters, lengthwise
- 10 oz frozen green beans
Condiments
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 T honey
- 2 T pure maple syrup
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- sesame seeds for garnish
Cooking Instructions
Place carrots on a foil lined baking sheet. Toss carrots with olive oil and drizzle with honey and maple syrup. Toss around to coat. Season liberally with salt and pepper.
Roast at 400°F for 40 minutes.
Prepare green beans per package directions stopping 1 minute before being done. Drain and add to pan with carrots. Toss to combine.
Sprinkle beans and carrots liberally with sesame seeds and return to oven. Bake for 5 more minutes to toast seeds. Serve immediately.
