Marinade

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. For optimal flavor, marinate overnight if possible.
  • Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
  • Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 7-10 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Rest the Chicken: Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes. This helps retain the juices.
  • Garnish and Serve: Slice the chicken and sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight.
