For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Dip each chicken breast into the mixture, turning to coat evenly.
  • Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Arrange the baked chicken breasts on plates and drizzle generously with the Creamy Garlic Sauce.

Notes

You can use any type of chicken you like for this recipe. For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Creamy Garlic Sauce. Serve the chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or quinoa.
