Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese grated
  • 25 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 2 tablespoons chives or green onions optional
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mince the garlic.
  • In a pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the garlic until cooked (no pink remains).
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the can of soup and season with a little salt and pepper.
  • Lightly grease a 9×13 pan. Add the meat mixture, sprinkle on the grated cheese, then add the frozen tater tots.
  • Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Top with chives or other fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

Additional seasoning may be added to the meat for flavor. Ground turkey or chicken can be used for a lower fat option. Other fresh herbs can also be used as a topping.
